How to Make Better Coffee Creamer at Home - Easy
If you love Italian Sweet Cream then this recipe is for you!
But let me start off by saying if you've never been able to drink your coffee black you truly should try one of our coffees. Honestly. I used to be like you. I liked a little coffee with my creamer and thought black coffee drinkers had a screw or two loose.
Then I tried our roaster's coffee. Black. Because he wouldn't let me put anything in it. #difficult But it was unlike any coffee I'd ever experienced. I actually liked it!
If you'd like to give our coffee a shot now would be a great time. From now through the end of September (2022) any coffees purchased will help to fund a year-long Bible club for kids in India. If you'd like to get more info on the program we're supporting with our Impact Dollars you can check it out here.
Our goal is to fund the program for 10 students, and as of today we're ~25% of the way there! Y'all have bought 56 bags out of the 240 bag goal! If you buy a bag (or two) we'd just like to say a big, "Thank you!"
And if you use the code 10KIDS (thru Friday the 19th) you'll get 10% off your order.
Ok, now for the creamer. Have you ever read the ingredient list on store-bought creamer? There's like no milk even in it, which is highly suspect.
Even though I don't drink much creamer anymore I do like it in my cold brew, and when guests come over I'd like to be able to offer them something that resembles a dairy product.
So, I did a quick google search and found this recipe by Natasha's Kitchen.
All it takes is a can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 3/4 cups of half and half, and a tablespoon of vanilla. Put it in a container, give it a good shake, and voila. The most delicious sweet cream you just might EVER taste!
Homemade creamers are super easy to make, and I think they're well worth the time. If you try this one I'd love to hear your thoughts. And if you have your own favorite recipe please share! This one already has me thinking of something with pumpkin or peppermint for Christmastime #yum
Because there's a better way,
